HAPPY PI DAY. Okay, now that's off my chest.
Homeroom: Mr. Cullen has not been around so Mrs. McFadden has taken over homeroom duties.
After homeroom I went to Cafeteria C to attend the meeting on the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference that is taking place this summer at Stockton College. I signed up for a relatively later interview because I did not want it to conflict with Jeopardy. I am kind of wary about not know what activities they will make me do (1. RUN 20 MILES. 2. SOLVES 100 PHYSICS PROBLEMS. 3. READ A HISTORY TEXTBOOK COVER TO COVER.), but hopefully if I do get selected to attend I will have a good time. After signing up for an interview, Molly and I head back to our classes. We parted ways and then I met up with Mr. McBride. We stopped at the D-D intersection and talked about March birthdays. He said that his is in March, and Callaway's is in March (today, he thought), and somebody else's too. He said that a bunch of them are really good friends and all have March birthdays, and he said, "And now you, too!" So I am definitely tight with Mr. McBride, as I have a March birthday and I want to be a chemistry teacher. Then we parted ways but encountered each other again in B-Hall. He must have gone through A-Hall, and I went through C-Hall. He exclaimed, "We went in opposite circles!" And then I made it to Sociology.
Sociology: "You went on the right day, huh?" Mrs. LaRosa said when I came in. I grinned and said yeah. Ingrid told me I missed an excellent discussion on grounds for divorce. Then Jim and Eric got kicked out of class, and Mrs. LaRosa said it was the first time she had kicked anyone out this year. I do have to agree, though, that they lack self-discipline. They're 18, for crying out loud.
Pre-Calculus: I enthusiastically said Happy Pi Day to many people. Then we reviewed for the trig identities quiz that is tomorrow. I'm not going to be around so Msbout will probably make me take it in class on Friday, and if not then, then some time else, because it's not going to be on Friday after school. Afterwards we did some crazy-easy stuff that was so easy that I can't even remember what it was.
Physics: Before class started, I informed Mrs. Hornibrook that I would not be in school tomorrow because I'm going on a field trip. So I am taking the Electricity test on Friday after school. I am relatively confident, and I just have to finish up the Chapter 18 problems. If I can do them, then I'm good. We reviewed in class today, so I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. Yes, times two.
P.E.: Chew was not in which made me happy because I did not feel like doing the Shuttle Run, since I am horrible at the Shuttle Run. I get like 11.4 seconds which is slow. The sub told us that if we wanted to walk we were walking in the hallways. His only instructions were not to get lost. Martha, Sam, and I wandered through C, A, B, and D, and we also used Quay Way. The weather was beautiful. We also visited Mrs. Hornibrook and she told us that it was 10:27.
English: Jillian and I put Post-It apologies on our Hemingway essays. However, mine was on top when Mr. Lawler looked down at the pile, and he removed it. He told me not to say that and that I might fool him (into thinking it's good?). I wore my Post-It note until Kyle took it off me and put it on my forehead, and then I put it on his face, and then we threw it away. During class we watched... damn. I have about 100 pages of The Great Gatsby to read by Friday. I knew I didn't want to blow off everything today...
