"I decompose in my backyard."

  • Listening to... "Yellow" - Coldplay

In Precalculus, it took some time to do the Chapter 6 test!  I felt like I blanked on everything.  In fact, I blanked on the second two and while doing the fourth I remembered how to do them.  Like yeah.  It took all period, that test.  Some people didn't finish.  Dimple was like, I've got four problems left!  Sammi J and I were like, Whoa.  I finished.  And I did the extra credit.  But I didn't have time to check and that's where ALL my point deductions come from -- dumb mistakes.

I don't have a clue what was the point of our spring constant lab but I have to do a lab report for Tuesday and yeah.  I got a 24/25 on our Simple Harmonic Motion quiz.  I got -1 because I didn't put "and in the opposite direction" when describing the force in the diagram.

I'm really bad at horseshoes too.  Martha got them stuck in the ground and they were really hard to pull out since they were so deep.  Amanda and I hid behind the tree because, well, horseshoes are dangerous.  I kept almost going to get the horseshoes before Amy threw the last one.  It could have died.  Or, uh, gotten seriously hurt for a stupid reason.

Hannah finished her presentation and Squirt started hers.  Kyle told me that he keeps flipping back and forth between bio and chem.  Except he's taking physics.  It makes more sense to me for him to take BOTH AP Bio and AP Chem, and then he can decide.  Like, he should take one over CP Accounting, which I'm pretty sure he's only taking because Miss Ferreri is the teacher.  Anyway, at the beginning of class I erupted onto Mr. Lawler about the insanity of the tutoring nonsense, since I got called to tutor a girl for Spanish, except they put the request in back in December, so they've already taken care of it.  I was like, I think we need to do some reforms with the tutoring service.

In Spanish we put together our poster for our story.  Miguel didn't have his pictures done, and Kelcie's dog literally ate her homework.  Sra. Dagostino didn't believe her.  I had typed up the story the night before so it was quick after all the pictures were done.  At the beginning of the story he is a redhead in the pictures but at the end he has black hair.  Those two are mine.  Esteban wears a green polo and a sombrero.  The moral of our story is not only that money doesn't buy happiness, but you should also listen to your wife.

It was another Friday Afternoon Complaint Session with Holmsie today, although I don't believe I complained much.  I just talked about all the stuff I must be doing and how it will be crazy.  I exaggerated a little about next week and said that I had to be in, like, five places at once, although it is only three.  I talked about how we have three chapters left in Art History and the test is on May 16th.  I also told him that we're trying to get the Pieces issue done for May 2nd but I have to be at AP History reviews -- with Mr. Barnshaw, he asked who's running those -- and the elementary school thing for NHS.  He told me not to stress out too much.  I said, "But you know I'm not very good at that."  He also told me to remember to breathe, which I said I'd try to do (because I know there are times when I seriously forget).  As I was leaving he told me that if I do badly on the AP History Exam then I should just blame Callaway.  He likes to blame Callaway.  I already like to blame Callaway.  And then I told him that we make fun of him because he can't talk and specifically that he can't pronounce "mayor" and "sphere."  Holmsie started saying "mare" and "spear" and laughing to himself.  As I slipped out the door he told me to get outside this weekend and I said, "I can't!  I have homework... and stuff."  So he told me to at least open the windows.

I was late to Art History.  Except it doesn't matter because I was earlier than Heather, Tara, and especially Parker.  We finished discussing Chapter 28 (The Age of the Enlightenment) and we started Chapter 29 (The Rise of Modernism).  Only half of us haven't even opened up the book to Chapter 29.  Heather answered a question and Koosh was like, "You actually read!"  Lauren turned around and gave Heather a big double thumbs up.  It was funny.  I have to figure out how I'm getting to the art museum.  Mary wasn't here today so I either have to contact her or persuade my parents to drive me to and back from Philly.  Maybe my dad can go.. visit his parents or something in the meantime.  Haha.

We have an AP Test in a month and Callaway is having us watch Oprah and read 50's Fun packets.  They're out of sight.  Not.

After school we Girls Who Wander went to SURE.  Kate asked me again if I wanted to visit Mr. Holmes.  I asked why she keeps asking me that.  She didn't know.  When we got to K-Pod, everybody was congregated outside of K-212.  Jackie told us that Mr. O injured himself on the Stairmaster and "found out" that he has severe arthritis, so he can't walk.  We're all setting up the Festival of Friends booth for tomorrow around 9.  Then I realized that I forgot my lab notebook so I went to go get it.  Mr. Cullen exclaimed to me, "Go home!" or perhaps it was "Go outside!"  Then on my way back I saw the Girls Who Wander at the end of the Core and Trina waved.  Twice.  I waved back.  Twice.   Holmsie appeared from behind and said hi to me, and I said, "Hey Mr. Holmes!  What's up?"  He was making copies, which sounded pretty darn exciting.  Then I met up with Tina, Trina, and Kate, and we went downstairs.  I went to the guidance office to pick up a Freshman Transition form, but there were none STILL.  Then we all went outside and sat on a bench.  Trina told us that she decomposes in her backyard.

0 arbitrary point deduction(s).
