Rules of Graduation Parties

So school is over.  I got a 104 on my pre-calc final and a 94 on the physics.  Both averages went up.  Yay!  I'm happy to be done with the work, but... I've got a lot of mixed feelings.  I think I just need a little time to myself -- all to myself -- to clear everything up.  Then finally maybe I can enjoy summer.  I've got a lot of things already planned, which is nice, but I really do need some me-time.

Senior year is almost here.  That really scares me.  The whole college admissions process is really making me nervous.  This summer I'm doing all my campus visits, so I hope that will make it easier to decide... or make me less reluctant about certain places.  (For instance, I'm really on the fence about TCNJ.  It's a good school, especially for education.  There's no doubt.  But it's 98% in-state students.  98%!  I want to get a more... worldly experience, or at least meet a broader spectrum of Americans, not just Jerseyans.)  I'm thinking of applying to Cornell, but it's 4.5 hours away,  and I doubt I am willing to go that far.  Bucknell is three... and even that seems far to me.  Delaware is a good distance... and it's getting better and more competitive each year.  I've been there, and, y'know, it's all right.  Villanova is perfect in terms of distance and size, and its Roman Catholic-ness is a plus to me, since once I'm somewhat independent I do want to go to mass every Sunday, and therefore the church is really accessible.  And its sports teams are pretty impressive, so I definitely will want to attend the games and cheer on the team -- get the school pride going on.  I can talk to Holmes about it... He could advise me on if I'd like it there (although he is biased and will probably tell me to go no matter what).  And then there's Penn State, which is impossibly large.  I don't really have an opinion on it.  So yeah.  I'm just scared is all.  It's all so daunting.

I'm sick.  Or something.  I can't stop coughing.  It's pretty uncomfortable.  And gross.  It's all phlegm-y and bleh.

Yesterday was finally Will's graduation party.  It was fun.  Pat climbed an evergreen tree.  I tried to buddy up with Professor Bruner so I can get some extra help in AP Physics next year.  Only he thought at first that I said I was "teaching" AP Physics, so it was really confusing and awkward.

Two rules for my graduation party: No balloons that make sounds and no alcohol.  I was going to make a dress code, but I've relaxed it to simply no nudity.

3 arbitrary point deduction(s).

TCNJ is like ewwwwwwwwwwww its like a college with ten buildings plopped right in the middle of the development. There is nothing to do there..... like the nearest store is 10 miles away
